Welcome and thank you for visiting the St. Louis Meditation Group website. We are affiliated with Self–Realization Fellowship, a worldwide nonprofit organization teaching Kriya yoga, with international headquarters in Los Angeles, California.

Due to Covid-19 all SRF St. Louis meditation services are canceled until further notice. However, the SRF Online Meditation Center offers group meditation and study of Paramahansa Yogananda’s teachings. Currently Self-Realization Fellowship is also offering a new online inspirational service each week, led by an SRF or YSS monastic. These programs generally include meditation, chanting, and a talk on Paramahansa Yogananda’s teachings.

Free literature about the Self-Realization Fellowship teachings including information on the Self-Realization Fellowship Lessons are available upon request.

Through his writings, including his bestselling book, Autobiography of a Yogi, Paramahansa Yogananda has introduced truth-seekers all over the world to India’s age-old philosophy of Yoga and it’s time-honored tradition of meditation.

Through an independently produced film, “Awake: The Life of Yogananda”, a modern audience explores how he brought India’s ancient Vedic teachings to the west. It examines why millions are turning their attention inward and away from the temptations of a material world in pursuit of their own self-realization.

The Self-Realization Fellowship Lessons are a comprehensive home-study course created by Paramahansa Yogananda and cover a wide range of topics and offer inspiring and practical guidance for achieving balanced physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.

The St. Louis meditation group meets regularly on Sunday mornings, in a private residence in Chesterfield, MO. All those with an interest in the teachings of Paramahansa Yogananda are welcome to attend.
